Chocolate Peanut Butter Pound Cake

You know my mom's amaaaazing pound cake? (If you don't, I am so sorry for you.) I took it to the next level with peanut butter and chocolate swirls. Um. yeah.

Ugggggh I'm surgery fasting and that looks so amazing this morning. Hey did you know that they're selling coca cola cake at Cracker Barrel during the summers now? It's deeeelicious.

Sorry Erin. This is one of those secret family recipes. My mom sells her pound cakes so I can't give it out.

I can tell you how to do the chocolate and peanut butter swirl! Just use a good pound cake recipe and make it for a bundt pan, the ring kind. Crisco and flour the pan, then put in enough batter to cover the bottom. Take out a cup of batter and mix 1/2 cup peanut butter with it and evenly distribute that over the base batter. Then do another layer of batter, you should have about half your batter left over after this. Then take out a cup and a half of batter and mix cocoa or chocolate syrup in it. You could use about 2/3 cup of your choice of chocolate, but I usually just do it to taste. Then put that on top of the middle plain batter layer and top it off with the rest of the plain batter. So the layers go: batter, peanut butter batter, batter, chocolate batter, batter. The batter swirls as it bakes so you don't have to worry about that. Hope this helps!
