White Chocolate Cookies & Cream Fudge

And yes, they are as rich, creamy, and fun as they sound. I sent most of it out of the house with T for him and his buddies and kept a few squares for my own selfish enjoyment. Here's the recipe:

1 C sugar
3/4 C butter
1 (5 oz) can evaporated milk
2 (12 oz) packages white chocolate morsels
1 (7 oz) jar marshmallow cream
3 C coarsely crushed Oreos (about 25 cookies)
Pinch of salt

Line a greased 9" square pan with aluminum foil; set aside.
Combine first 3 ingredients in medium saucepan.
Cook over med.-high heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil. Cook 3 minutes, stirring often.
Remove from heat; add morsels, marshmallow cream, 2 C crushed Oreos (about 19 cookies), and salt. Stir until morsels melt.
Pour fudge into prepared pan. Sprinkle remaining Oreos on top, pressing into the fudge.
Cover & chill for about 2 hours.
Lift uncut fudge in foil out of pan; remove foil, cut fudge.

Yield: about 4 lbs.

Tomorrow: Newly covered dining room chairs!
